Get ready for Small Charity Week

Find out what you can to do get ready for the week.

Preparing for the week

Small Charity Week is your chance to celebrate your impact, tell your story and help more people see the difference your organisation makes.

Whether you're planning an event, sharing a story, thanking supporters or reaching new audiences, this is your moment to shine a light on your work.

You don't need to do everything on this list. Start with what feels right for your organisation and go from there.

Your checklist

1. Plan your activity

Decide how you want to take part. You could share stories on social media, run a simple event, connect with local media, celebrate volunteers or thank your supporters.

2. Download your resources

Download the Small Charity Week toolkit and explore the social media assets, email banners and template content to help you spread the word quickly and easily.

3. Prepare your content

Think about the stories, people and impact you want to highlight. Keep it simple, real and true to your organisation. Pull your messaging together and capture your photos or videos.

4. Engage your audience

Use Small Charity Week to connect with supporters, volunteers, local businesses, funders and your wider community.

5. Share your impact

A short story, quote, photo, video or impact statistic can go a long way. Small charities may be small in size, but the impact is big.
