Who delivers Small Charity Week
The Foundation for Social Improvement (the FSI) established Small Charity Week in 2010. Since the FSI’s closure in 2023, NCVO has coordinated the campaign with support from partners.

In 2024, NCVO delivered the campaign with support from the small charities advisory panel, and other charity sector infrastructure organisations.

Defining a small charity
A small charity is a voluntary organisation with a social or charitable purpose with an annual income of less than £1 million. This includes registered charities, community groups, community interest companies (CICs) and other structures.
